Workplace Legal is thrilled to announce that Mark Gabel has joined the firm’s San Francisco office as Senior Counsel.
Mark helps his clients navigate the complex web of employment law and workplace culture issues they face today. He advises employers about employment law compliance and tough management issues, represents them in settlement negotiations, and defends them in employment law litigation and arbitration.
Mark regularly advises executives, company founders, and professionals about employment contracts, compensation, equity, and non-compete issues, and represents them in claims for wrongful termination, breach of contract, and unpaid wage matters. With broad experience in executive compensation issues, Mark understands how companies structure their non-cash compensation and uses that knowledge to help his clients get better deals.
Mark was selected as a Northern California Super Lawyer for Employment Law in 2020 and 2021 – an award granted to only the top 5% of California attorneys. He serves on the Executive Committee for the Solo/Small Firm Section of the Bar Association of San Francisco and is a member of the Labor and Employment Section of the California Lawyers Association and the Sonoma County Bar Association.
Prior to joining Workplace Legal, Mark was the founder and principal of Gabel Law Firm in San Francisco. Mark began his legal career at Hanson Bridgett and Davis Wright Tremaine.
